Growing up in the rich tapestry of Colombia, I was immersed in a world where language was more than just words — it was connection, culture, and belonging. Later, as a mother of three, I felt a deep desire to pass down the gift of bilingualism to my children.

Driven by a belief in the power of language and community, I embarked on a mission to create a space where families could come together to nurture not only language skills, but also identity, confidence, and connection. Thus, El Recreo Spanish was born — a haven for families raising bilingual children, and a nurturing environment where language learning is joyful, meaningful, and accessible to all.

Our vision goes far beyond language instruction. It’s about building bridges across cultures, fostering belonging, and celebrating diversity through Spanish. We offer immersive classes for babies, toddlers, teenagers, and adults, each tailored to spark curiosity and empower learners at every stage.
